    Here We Go Again

     Can you even?...
    Can you hear me?
    Can you see me?
    Can you care?

    Everyday I walk through the hall
    Everyday I'm looked right through
    No one hears me speak
    No one sees me move

    I'm just going through the motions
    And no one even sees.

    I scream I cry
    I shout at the sky
    But no one ever bothers
    To find out why...

    Invisible, no one
    A wallflower forgotten 
    A broken soul 
    A spirit that's gone rotten 

    I hold the world on my shoulders
    I help you in anyway I can
    But when I need a hug
    I can only hug myself...

    The world has happily forgotten me
    I'm just dust in the wind
    I speak I try to be included
    And it falls on deaf ears...

    I know it gets better
    But then it doesn't
    I know there are worse off
    But I'm here not there

    I'm not a wallflower I'm a ghost
    Seen by a few but not payed much attention
    Completely overlooked by others
    Nevermore....

    Great way of expressing out how you feel. Thanks 4 responding on my poem. I know exactly how you felt being abused rape and molested makes you feel less then dirt .We have grown stronger because of it.     Good poem- emotions well portrayed. Take heart that you are not alone. Your sense of not being important to anyone, of being invisible, is an all too common malady today. Nice work!
