Hide the Moon

Hide the Moon

Whats done in the dark, can bear no sparks
Or dreams defend, in a hope for the end
Savage thoughts of mindless acts
A battered soul comes under attack
Nightmares of waking from a sleep of peace
Hearts are shredded and no sign of ease
Piece together my broken bones
Pick me up, and help me home
What i did in the dark, it left its marks
And i beg for you never to see them.

Another great piece of work! I think we share similar styles. I have a piece like this one as well called Less Is More. You have to check it out please. I am craving your feedback.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
