    HIS RETURNING

    11-20-2009

    Lord, the time is nearing,
    For your soon appearing,
    To take your children home.

    White robe, I'll be wearing;
    Your coming preparing.
    My sins, you did atone.

    My lamp full for burning;
    I'm watching and yearning,
    For Christ and Christ alone.

    Thank you, Icu2. I do so appreciate getting other's imput. He's been working a long time, and I long to go. That does not mean that I'm not enjoying His blessings here, because He blesses us with more than I could name.

    Thank you so much, RedeemedRose. It is so good to know that there are many Christians out there watching and waiting his return. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
