Holy Union

Poem Commentary

A beautiful experience of myself one day....

Holy Union

I was becoming aware
Of my constant and continual
Self-criticism
And then a Voice said,
Clear as the day was bright,
"Its a character you're playing"
I sat up, startled for a moment
And listened intently
Questioning this statement
Again, it said
"She is a character you are playing"
This made my mind flip
Yet I sat silently
And with great anticipation
Awaiting explanation
My desire was met
When the Voice continued,
"You get to see what it's like
TO BE HER"
My heart expanded
My spirit danced
"You get to BE HER"
"Experience through her,
And also AS her"
" You ARE her,
Yet you are more"
And then I was me again
Yet the next instant
It shifted
And I saw all the glory
That I had been gifted
The heavens opened up
My spirit was lifted
I heard music of angels
Notes that were limitless
"And the Holy Union is when
You feel Her as You,
And She feels You as She,
This is the point that
The circle completes"
ONENESS
And I saw myself anew
With a totally different view
Everywhere
           Everything
                       Always....

Wow you are on the right track with all the poems I have read from your life experience! Holy Union yes - but in my take: not union with any created thing or being but with the Uncreated Being. I like what you write very much!! My applause, Kallen PS: Thank you for your clarifications on my previous comments. IS ok to disagree. You are making this such fun!!!!!

Why thank you Kallen! I am having great fun with you as well, love your insights and I appreciate you taking the time to read so many of my "expressions", as I like to call them! I would also like to know you more as well, I saved your email address :) I'll send you mine in a private message too. thank you!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
