    Poem Commentary

    Meant this one to be a bit longer, but sometimes you just gotta let it go, and call it good...even if it is a bit short.

    Hooked on Hope

    Sunrise this good morning,
      bright glorious day ahead --
    flowers, spring showers,
      no more do I dread.

    There are gifts in giving,
      so much that we fail to see --
    rocks, new building blocks,
      children being me.

    Future for the heroes,
      pain and suffering aside --
    hope, helps us to cope,
      by God, I’ll abide.
