Hopefulness

Hopefulness

In bleek and scattered coldness
I find myself in this usual darkness
grasping for any hope that I may find relief
I am not alone but lonely I feel
As if it is only happening to me
We all suffer in our own dirrection
leading us off to where we feel we can not return
Am I lost is there hope
I have yet to find it
Although this so called hope
gives me the very endurance I need for survival
That is what we all do in a sense
Some not even knowing or realizing
We all hope just to survive
Hope that they wont get sick
Hope that their monies wont run out
Hope that they can live just another day longer
We all suffer our own dirrections
in this bleek and scattered coldness of darkness
we call this life.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
