Hoping

Hoping

We are made of star stuff;
Our bones of quicksilver and moonlight.
In our sinews are longings
Which cannot be satisfied
On such a dusty rock as Earth;
Proof we are meant to live forever.
Evidence - a faint trail
Left upon our souls,
By Him.

A lovely little gem which has satisfied me. Is it left upon our souls by Him or Us? Are We not Him, the star dust?

Well said.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
