    Poem Commentary

    I was playing Gears of War 2, and I got this amazing idea for a poem... Yeah, It's a little redundant, an d my style is iffy, but I love the poem. Hope you do too!

    Horde!

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    Past my head,

       The bullets fly!

    And I know that

       I may soon die!

     

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    Grenades exploding

       Everywhere!

    I throw my own;

       Time to share!

     

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    Skulls are crushed

       Under flails of war!

    One less warrior,

       For the Horde!

     

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    The reek of burning,

       The sight of fire!

    A walking bomb

       Shall soon expire!

     

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    Screams of the dying

       Are all around!

    Corpses of the slain

       Litter the ground!

     

    Boom!

       Crush!

          Burn!

             Grind!

    I stand victorious,

       At the top of the pile!

    Until a lone sniper…

       Wipes away my smile…
