    How could you!

How could you say that you loved me, when you knew you didn't mean it.
How could I have been so blind, to not have seen it.
You promised me things that every girl only dreams of.
Like your never ending faithfulness, and unconditional love.
"Till death due us part", thats what you said.
But instead you ripped out my heart, and had me wishing I was dead.
You took my hopes and dreams soaring up to the skies.
then I find out that they're nothing but a bunch of lies.
I told you that I'd rather have you with out a future, than a future with out you.
But now wishing for you is all I have to look forward to.

I probably used to feel that way when I was your age, but then I grew up, learned to love myself, learned what God felt aobut me, and NOW, no man can bring me down. As a matter of fact, I am the important one in my relationship sinxce the bible says that, "When a man finds a wife, HE finds a GOOD THING" and since I am a GOOD THING and a wife, that would be me! But again, I felt like that once upon a time, now I wish that I would have not waisted my time moping over guys who only cared about bust

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
