    How Could You

How could I say this to you
How could you hurt her so
How could you go on day by day
    Pretending you don't know

How could you cause her so much pain
Then flirt to cause her more
How could you do the things you do
    Then turn your back before
    She starts to cry
    And wonders why
    She's living anymore

How could you say to me
That you were nice and kind
I guess it goes to show
    That even you can lie

    When people talk about you
    Her eyes are rarely dry
So all I have to say
is How could You and Why?
