    HUMAN
    we see ourselves as so highly evolved
    well above the beasts of the earth
    while animals are driven by instinct
    with us it’s cruel intent life has no worth
    we’re really beneath the animals
    who give no thought to killing their young
    the difference is we give it thought
    into the fire is humanity flung
    animals kill for life sustaining food
    no pleasure felt out of murder
    but the Bundys of the world spend their lives
    planning it out with great fervor
    with beasts there is no evil mind
    behind anything they do
    there is no reason for remorse
    we’re just human through and through

    Ouch! Sorry that finger poked me in da eye! The content struck me as biased, though true up to a point! To note: a Male lion kills all the prior males cubs without remorse hehehe good thing step parents don't ride that wave! The flow glides through nice!

    Oh, now i wasn't pointin da finger at u. Wink!!! Someone had made a comment in a conversation about "humans thinking they are so evolved" i really thought it made an interesting topic and wrote a poem!!!! I am really not so opinionated. Unfortunately parents and step parents ride that wave!!!! Thanks for reading.

    Wow! This is very thought-provoking, philosophical, and well written. Really makes you say "hmmm..." We are mammals whose actions carry great consequence because we know what we're doing... very interesting take on humanity. I give it a 10!
