    humanity

fallen from grace an angel is crying
world in torment souls lost what is
left for humans what is left of life
darkness engulfing the world blood shed
on all the land hell is breaking
through the gates are falling what is
left but death and despair how have
we let our world come to this
power greed and hate thus is the
end of civilization as we know it
can we fix this can we save what
we have done to humanity only
the gods of all know that answer

    interesting

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
