    I called her name
    Called
    I called her name
    forgot she had passed
    how dumb can I be
    at the grave site
    I did stand
    waiting for my love
    to take my hand
    what a sad moment
    I recall
    never thought I would see you
    there in a paralyzed spot
    you passed
    who do I have
    to hold at night
    time goes real fast
    love the one that was given to you
    never know
    you’ll say good bye
    to soon
    our life was good
    we were best friends
    hopping we would never
    see each other’s end
    remember one thing
    one chance is what we get
    so behave yourself
    and just love you never know
    when you will have to let go
    to your
    best friend

    sooner or later, happens one way or another, for us all, and all our relations ... a heartfelt reminder from personal experience ... and what a universal vignette of loss you share in so few words ... beautiful share ... -dh
