    I cant get over you

    I Can’t Get Over You
    Cassius Mcpherson

I’ve relinquish myself of everything that reminds me of you.
I’ve ridded myself of the memories although all I have are a few.
Still the ones I have stay with me and no matter what I do.
I find myself overwhelmed with thoughts I can’t get over you.

My dreams are a constant picture book on every page I see your face.
In my heart I’ve built a monument in which you hold a special space.
    I promised myself I wouldn’t hurt that I wouldn’t shed a tear.
Still I’m dying inside though the tears have dried the fact is that I want you here

I sit silently waiting for you to call but I’m knowing this won’t come true.
In my dreams I’m holding you close to me, cause I can’t get over you.
My body cringes from the mere thought of someone else holding you at night.
But I calm myself when I’m sleeping by simply holding my pillow tight.

I have to be strong was what we where doing so wrong cause I can’t get over you.
