I CAN'T LOVE YOU LIKE I USED TOO

I can't love you like I used too, straight from the heart
Because when you left me girl, it tore me apart
I tried to get you back, you just kept on going
You now realize I loved you without ever really knowing
Now you're back to make amend
Well this is where I bid farewell, this is where it end
I found myself a new love
She was there when my heart was about to fall
She gave me her strength, her love; she gave me her all
She was there when the tears came
On her I leaned till my strength was regained
I know grown men don't cry
But when you lose a love like I did
    Macho subside
Girl you hurt me far than you can ever believe
My heart literally stopped beating when it was deceived.

I'd love to see this one edited and cleaned up. There is the essence of a good poem here but it hasn't arrived yet.
