    I was about 8 or 9 when this happened........

    I Died

     I laied down last night.......
    With the infectious thought going wild......
    I tried and tried with all my might.....
    When I was a child........

    It was a family friend, one they trusted.....
    They knew him so long........
    A little ones' emotions busted......
    He said he did no wrong......

    Cried and cried and cried........
    For ever it seems......
    I have tried.....
    To lose this dream.......

    But reality it was to me.......
    I never told a soul.......
    In my dreams I'm never free.....
    My innosence this guy stole......

    So as I close my eyes......
    Late in the night......
    It's the sleep and lies.......
    I always fight.......

    Just a lil boy.... a lil femmee....
    Now all grown up tall and wise.....
    Becomming a lady.........
    Why be surprised.....

    I've always been this way......
    Deep down inside.......
    Will my soul pay.......
    I feel like that day I died.......

    red ty for this write.alot of people may not want to understand it but life is a your choices. Do as you choose otherwise youlle never have the correct answers when you go to learn things.Bless you red ,tc,live well and write more poems.

    Breaks my heart to know what you must have gone through. Remember to take back control of your own life. Be who you are happy being. Feel free enough to make yourself happy. What others think really doesn't matter to your soul, now does it? Take it from someone that took over 45 years to learn this lesson. Hard lesson I know.
