Your metaphors are glistening and sizzling like drops of water on the desert noon rock... Your phrases "madness of summer" on the back... and "while the great invisible heat radiates from its raging source" are interesting partners of the day ... both are volcanic in temperment... with a fierceness found in the crests of waves and in "God's spent energy of excitement"... nice to find your recognition of Life profoundly seated in creation's spark.

Ah..Dah...The essence of Summer felt from the inside out. Who would have thought of passion and summer enveloped as the same? Pure, raw and delightful.....I love it......Swan

this is beautiful, and thank you...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
