I Know What I Heard!

Poem Commentary

Sometimes we have random thoughts...this one just struck me and flowed. Nothing is impossible when we stop listening to all the voices that say we can't and simply start doing what we know..

I Know What I Heard!

 Somebody told me,

it was what nobody, put in my head

 but I knew, I had not really heard;

‘Till, I listened to what anybody said!

So I set my journey to find him,

Looked up his address…I would give call!

I needed to here from, his-own point of view

I searched every whim – to get hold of him

I couldn’t just tell it too anybody, yet I wanted

 to give my all!

If you knew how I looked…you’d be looking too!

Twas’ life’s struggle I wished to discuss – us two

 I needed perspective, a fresh taste, anew…

And although I didn’t find anybody – I did hear he

 looked for me too.

Nobody can give us the way of life.

And when somebody tries, they just create strife.

Still I long to hear, I want to see…get ahead,

though I know, it’s due to not hearing

                                              What anybody said…
