I Love My Friends

  • Well, here goes nothing. Really. I'm not doing anything.

I Love My Friends

If I could be given a fortune in full, immediately and without strings to pull,
I wouldn't accept it; I couldn't you see, my life is just brilliant, at least good for me.
I've already found the fortune that's mine, it's really so simple I don't need to sign.
You see, I have friends who can guide me along, and loudly with pride we can join in our song.
If I had fortune, or fame, or a crown, then through all the world my name would resound.
But if I had things of such nature as this, then I could not live with my friends or in bliss.
If you do see where I'm going in rhyme, then maybe we could get together some time,
To just see a movie, or maybe a play, or perhaps just to talk or to hang for a day.
It's a simple idea, it's still incomplete. To something that's happened it still can't compete.
But it can be done, and it probably will, for being with friends is for me such a thrill.
Sincerely I hope that this message is viewed, in a way that it's meaning is not misconstrued.
It's simply to say what I feel in my heart, and if this offends you then do not be part
Of this simple idea which I shall perfect, so that what I attempt shall come into effect.
If I had a motive, I would stop the clock, but since I don't have one I'll let it tick tock
To count down the minutes until I employ my simple idea which works like a toy;
As mentioned before, I just want to be with a group of my friends with a movie to see.
This is my aim, my goal and my shot, and into this goal I will put all I've got.
So now in conclusion, simplicities here are all that I need and a friend to be near.
