    I LOVE
    I love a man who has no hands
    He touches my heart with his words
    I could feel his love
    he speaks of life like it's a love song
    he speaks of me like I am his life
    He embraces me
    with the hope of things to come
    he is my strength
     
    I love a man who has no feet
    he walked right into my life
    he carried me through my trials
    step by step
    he fills my heart with passion
    and my soul with spirit
    he restored my faith 
    I am, because of who he is
     
    I love a man who has no eyes
    he could see
    straight through to my soul
    We explore the world together
    We explore each other
    Through him
    I believe in the unseen
    He's opened my mind 
    and I understand my reason for being
     
    I love a man who has no voice
    his silence is my meditation
    he comforts me in despair
    he shelters me
    I am at ease
    by the mare mention of his name
    I know he won't forsake me
    he promised to always be with me
     
    I love a man
    who knows my every thought
    without a word being said
    who promises so much
    and wants me in return
    he offers me eternal life
    and all I have to do is ask
    he sacrficed his son
    so that I may live
    he loves unconditionally
    he merciful
    He is my provider
    he is my deliverer
    he is my conquerer
    He is my father
    I love this man

    And, yet, He has all of those and we willbe like Him one day! It thrills me to think about. God is a man and, yet spirit but then again, so are we. I like this poem very much. Good work Aliciagal.

    Amen! At times it is hard to believe and have faith? On the roller coasters we have called life. Spiritually being touched by words.....................there has to be a greater being.

    a personal best... a very powerful piece. truth is conceived from the heart, goodness from the soul, and insight and teachings from the mind. you articulated what the world has ignored for years; but perhaps, your work found someone who is a believer, and who is listening and waiting. very well written... thejazzpoet

    I give God the glory for my existence and everything I am. I get lost in my emotions and stray from what I know to be. I need to remind myself that I LOVE.
