    I need you

    The sparkling twilight wakes up my soul
    I see your face right before my very eyes
    But you are no where around me
    All I can do is sigh from loneliness

    The pure white snow looks like clouds
    Yet it's much prettier when it first falls
    It's obvious that cold nights await me
    And that's when I realize that I need you

    I need you...
    Like pain needs compassion
    Like raining days need sunshine
    Like a great summer after a hard winter
    Like death needs a new life
    Like a best friend who is always there

    The days become meaningless when you're gone
    My nights are restless without the sound of your voice
    Being with you always would be my heaven
    But first you have to get here to me

    I'm trapped by my darkest days
    Hoping for an escape
    Terrible thoughts flood my mind as I wait
    Only to realize I really need you

    I need you...
    Like beauty needs to be seen
    Like love needs passion
    Like silence needs interruptions
    Like the body needs strength
    Like I need you to be here with me

    The pain that one feels when their love is away...sighing, crying, pining, wishing for their quick return....but, alas, the seconds pass like years. Very lovely way of putting that into this poem of yours, my dear...........................................gogant
