I Refuse to Die

Poem Commentary

Feeling stronger every day.

I Refuse to Die

No matter what the pain,
There is no call to lie
I refuse to let you take control
I refuse to die

No spirit is meant to be broken
I see through your evil ways
And making stronger my conviction
I will build much happier days

I move forward everyday
Feeling confident and free
I refuse to let You
Pull the very life from me

Each step I take
Each thought passing by
Reassures my Heart and Soul
That I Refuse To Die

I really like this poem.It has a similar philosophy to my poem,"Proudly Walk Through The Fire". I think that a person needs to have the determination to not let anyone or anything bring them down or break their spirit.Life is meant to be enjoyed each moment of each day enjoying the simple pleasures and striving for worthwhile causes.Thank you for the wonderful inspiration and gentle reminder to keep "cowboying up" no matter what the circumstances are in life. Life is meant to be tough, we just have to learn to make it smooth. A strong spirit and determination helps. Thank!

Nice write. It flows very nicely. It is a 10 for me. :)

I think this one can be expanded more. Tell me more of how people are bringing you down.

I appreciate your comment and suggestion. I am not quite sure how to put the rest to words just yet. I have expanded on the original version. I may have to do a completly new one. Anyway thank you.
