I Remember My Friend
Hey, how are you doing?
Its been awhile since we've talked.
What have you been up to?
Remember when we last walked?
We walked to the swing set.
We talked and we both had smiled.
Do you remember it?
The bond we had for awhile.
We had good times we did.
I am glad that I know you.
Didn't you have fun too?
Do you not miss the bond too?
I remember the bond.
I still feel the connection.
Can you still feel the bond?
Can you feel the connection?
Its been awhile since then.
The day the bond had grown weak.
Even now I feel it.
Hoping it will grow to peak.
It has been awhile since we actually talked
These last few lines will no break my rule
I wish to say you might have been the one
But that's too much, too early. I'd be a fool
