I saw you this morning,
You looked at me and ran away,
You followed your heart,
Into a new day.
I tried to love you,
And I try still.
I'll hold on forever,
If that's what it takes, I will.
I saw you this morning
You didn't stay long
I tried to love you
But I did it all wrong.
