I Sit Alone...

I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation. I need your strength to rescue my own. Walk with me my friend, thru my ever-evolving life. See me true, see me fallen, see me with you.
I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation. See thru my hardened armor, feel my tender wounded heart. Look deep into my eyes; see thru the windows of mine soul. Watch over me; know me, as thine own.
I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation. Give me strength & hold me tight to wave the quiet tremors of mine fears. Give me strength & hold me tight to wave the quiet tremors of mine anger. Be there my friend, be there always, be not a stranger.
I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation. Give me the knowledge to claw thru mine insecurities. Build me up, strengthen my resolve, stand with me as my roots evolve. Stand with me, watch with me as my past fades & my future glows brighter.
I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation.
Know that you do not sit all alone, but are instilled in my heart & my kinship. When the walls close in, reach for my hand, that which you know is my love & my friend.
I sit all alone, lost in this prison that is my own mind as all that I have done & been play before my tears of quiet desperation. Weep not tears of sorrow nor quiet desperation, but instead hold me, my dear sweet sweet one, as tight as you can. Rejoice in my heart, with your mind, rejoice in all that you have done & been because through it all you have my love in your heart, my dearest sweet friend...

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
