    I Stand Alone
    Here like a fallen angel,I stand alone
    confused and grieving on my own
    The sentimental poet hides again
    locking my feelings with lock,key and chain
    silence will be a mystery of unspoken words
    like pictures of a thousand singing birds
    I can see they're singing but can't hear a song
    I speak but you will never understand what's wrong
    My cold stare will hide all my tears
    only my poems will tell my fears
    Here once more I stand alone
    my love will never again be shown
    I've decided to close my heart
    become cold like in the start
    for love there will be a closed door
    as depression is pulling me to the floor
    while wishing death to come for me
    or love to force me to unlock the key
    Here once more I stand alone
    I'll be the sentimental poet now unknown

    Believe me sister, you are not alone! So many of us have lost love or never even found it! Keep on keeping on! At least you have the ability to love, once you lose that, is life really even worth living? Great poem!

    Thanks Slimgoodwoody for your comment. At the moment I wrote this I was at one of my lowest moments but glad to say now looking back it was foolish to even think that way. I guess writing always helps me vent out anything I can't control n after a good cry everything seems better. At the end as always things fall into place.
