    I Want More
    I want more
    More than what my surroundings bring,
    I want more
    More than what my eyes have seen,
    I want more

    Not operating in a place of fear but faith, cause I want more
    Removing "Self" from the process, so that God can take its place, cause I want more

    I want more than the physical, which brings lust and not love
    Turning something sacred into an addictive drug

    I want more cause mere beauty fades away
    Into wrinkles, eye glasses and shades of white, black and gray.
    I want more

    Want to crave the Creator and not the created,
    I want more
    Trying to fight this urge to feed this appetite so I won't feel slated
    I want more

    Don't want to get my feelings crisscrossed and jump, jump into what "my" heart feels
    Wanna listen to the heart of God and find a love that's not fake, but real

    Not limited but legendary, that's timeless and not temporary.

    Don't want to make and sculpt you into this more that I'm searching for
    For I just want you to understand where I am coming from so that you can decide if you can take any more

    Not running, but walking to the more that I seek
    Holding onto God's unchanging hand to lead and guide me to the better half of me,
    So that together we can achieve that more which God requires of thee.
    I want more.

    man this is really touched me a lot, because my realtionship with god isnt were it needs too b.. like u said " I WAnt More".. Luv it!!

    Thanks a lot. Realize that all of us have room for growth and improvement with respect to our relationship with God, be it preacher or person on the corner. We should all be striving for more. Glad that you liked the poem and it spoke to you. -MagicRock
