    i wish to kiss you

So long it has been since I’ve kissed you,
I seem to forget your taste.
It’s my fault how long I haven’t kissed you,
    Since I saw you yesterday.
You leaned in to kiss me,
    But I foolishly pulled away.
That wasn’t were I wanted to kiss you,
But I would kiss you there today
