If I Could

If I Could

If I could take away all of your pain, you wouldn't have to ask twice.  If I could rid you of all your sorrow, I would take it off your chest and burry it away in my heart.  If I could take away all of these burdens, I would gladly take your place.  You have been there for me through thick and thin.  You have made me feel like I am at home again.  If the trueth be told I would take your place, just to see a smile on your face.  I will be here for you with whatever you might need.  Don't be affraid to ask.  If I could take it all away,  I would.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
