    I'm Happy

     I'm happier than I have been in a long time.
    Sure, I get depressed.
    Sure, I still cut.
    Sure, I cry.
    But I'm happy!
    I have friends
    I still get to talk to some of my old friends
    and you hang with me.
    Ive gotten rid of the ugly stuff
    to reveal a good side
    a better side
    and now,
    I'm happy.

    I cry because I fear that I may never know the happiness that you so wonderfully describe. I love how you explained the realistic side of happiness. Some people believe that happy is up all the time but really its that internal contentment inspite of the ugly stuff. Great job
