    I'm Not Scared Anymore

    I'm not scared anymore to tell you how I feel

     

    I'm not scared anymore to show you how I feel

     

    I'm not scared to be who I am

     

    I'm not scared of the things to come

     

    Roosevelt said, "the only thing to fear is fear itself."

     

    For there is nothing in this world to fear, but the Heavenly Father Himself

     

    I took a risk

     

    I took a chance

     

    But I'm not scared anymore

     

    I was scared of being hurt

     

    Scared of rejection and what people might say

     

    But I'm not scared anymore

     

    What was meant to be will be

     

    Live your life to the fullest (or so they say)

     

    What's the point in living if you live your life running scared all the time

     

    So I tried showing and I failed

     

    I end up telling and a weight has been lifted

     

    Don't need that dead weight draggin' me down

     

    I'm not scared anymore to just sit back and be me

     

    Life is too short

     

    So even if you don't care, I'm gonna continue on livin'
