Immersion of Self

    Poem Commentary

I am seeking my redemption for raising self pride before I fall, in thinking that my work has anything to do with me at all, I have to let it go.... and of course, there's a man with purposes of his own, and I pray if he reads, he will call me his own.

    Immersion of Self

    10-26-09

    Immersed into our purposes,

                I seek common ground

    Engulfed by intent

                We lose our way

    To our selfishness....

                Thinking we are chosen

For who we design ourselves to be

                We forget.

That it is He who designed

                And purposed our lives

To be what He designed us to be

To go where we should go

And say what we should say

I can no more respond to thee

As my flesh would have me do

But have to be mindful of His divinity.

For, without His and my divinity

I am no more than alone.

We are never alone even times when we think we are. All is predetermined if we only let ourselves go and open our heart, eyes .. our souls .. then our path becomes more clear.

The most quiet of sighs clear the skies of clouds as well. Thank you for whispering in my ear.

a beautiful write, Darling ... "Immersed into our purposes" ... circular ssss's spinning a ... warning? fate ... and He who designed ... and knowing oneself ... with a powerful declaration of self, "For, without His and my divinity / I am no more than alone." beautiful ...

I am so pleased that you heard my voice. Kinship is good. I'll try to put forth better efforts.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
