Immortal

Dissolving sense of past to present Impersonating a dull breath Waiting to end the road of life. This highway goes on forever Suspended to the sky Feeding its immortal self, Burning at the sides Moving slowly... Forever is an intense feeling Knowing that everyday is another step Toward nothing Just an eternity of eating, blinking Breathing slowly Watching the days dissolve Into a mosaic. Having to watch friends die So why make new ones? Drinking might kill you But it brings me to another place Escaping all i've lost Forgetting that it's never coming back. 1/15/09
