    Imprisoned mind
      Saddness behind his eyes
    Something not even himself can see
    It lay within a broken heart
    And angry memories

    He hides his feelings behind the glass
    Inprisoned by the longing and fear
    To the world he shows no pain
    Though I know he hurts
    And its real

    He'd love to let his life go
    And release what he has held
    Though he stuggles
    And vices away
    So that in the end
    He's just living to die another day

    This is very well written. It seems to me, there is someone dear to you; and you can see and feel the pain of that person.

    When somebody's imprissoned it doesnt always mean bars. Life plays roles and although it was written as a poem to someone locked up. It plays a role on the others who support who feel the pain as well.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
