    In God's Hands

In God's hands, He holds, this tiny little one,
He know all about him, before it's all begun.
He knows his future, of what his life will hold,
In God's hands, this tiny one will grow.

He stands one day, as he awaits to take a giant step,
His first day of school, of his independence.
His mother, waits beside her child,
    In her heart, she knows,
In God's hands, her child , she lets go.

He grows so quickly, into a fine young man.
    His country they need him,
He wants to take a stand.
Today, this child, will become a man.

His mother's heart is about to break,
    Her faith, it will grow,
For in God's hands, she will place,
Her son, his life, his goals.

As time goes by, once again,
    This journey, has to end.
    His mother, she's grown old,
He takes her tired, worn hand.
In God's hands, he puts her life,
The hands, that he has know.
It is time, that he must let,
    His Father, take her home.

A new life, is about to begin,
    A tiny girl is born.
Her Father, puts his little girl,
    Into The Father's Hands.
