In Honor of My Child From Up Above
We had a great blessing sent from God above
Her name was Jennifer Lynn
She was taken at age 24 to be with God once more
God's here to hold me the many times I cry
She's there many times in my heart and mind's eyes
I miss her so and wish I could hold her once more
but know it's impossible until I see her in the End
No anger or blame towards God do I have
but have asked, "Why my child and not me instead"
As each day passes He's helping me to heal
and I thank Him for using me to create
the miracle of Jennifer Lynn
I would be selfish to want her still here with us
for now she's with God and suffers no more
I have so many memories I'm thankful God bestowed
She'll always be in my heart and ever by my side
God has His own reasons and plans
that we don't understand
