     IN LOVE WITH YOUR SELF

    I LOOK IN THE MIRROR WHAT DO I SEE
    A LOVELY FACE IT'S ME
    I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY
    THEY CAN SAY WHAT THEY MAY
    I LOOK IN THE MIRROR I TALK TO MY SELF
    ME AND NO ONE ELSE
    I LAUGH AND TALK WITH ME
    I'AM AS HAPPY AS I CAN BE
    I DON'T CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SEE
    I'AM JUST HAPPY AND FREE
    I SAY TO MY SELF YOU ARE A GOOD LOOKING GUY
    PEOPLE LIKE YOU I SEE WHY
    I LIKE ME TOO
    IF IT WASN'T FOR ME WHAT I WOULD DO
    IF I COULDN'T LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SEE MY FACE
    THIS WOULD BE A SAD PLACE
    WITHOUT ME AND YOU WHAT WOULD I DO
    TO MY SELF I'LL AWAYS BE TRUE
    BUT NO MATTER HOW I LOVE MY SELF
    I MET SOMEONE ELSE
    SHE DON'T LOVE ME LIKE I DO
    BUT I NEED SOMEONE FOR ME THAT'S TRUE

    erm, do I detect a note of ego? The rhythmn and rhymn are good and though I may not agree with the picture you present, I like the poem a 10
