In My Opinion

In my opinion the world sucks.
Why is this you may ask?
Well I'll tell you why, because of people and our entire sucky existance.
What good have people caused apart from wars, hate, mass destruction, extinction of animals, and destroyed nature?
All we ever do is take from this world and sooner or later our planet will not take anymore.
People's humanity is fading away fast and soon all that is left is anger and the way the world deals with anger is to fight with guns and explosives and by this point it will be too late as we will all be dead or dying out.
And all that was good in this world, babies being born and their innocence so small in the world of hatred, the beauty of nature and having thoughts and feelings other than anger will just be a distant dream of a scared child who fears for the future just like me.

Only you have the power/ Look for the truth/ Listen for the truth/ Speak the truth. Every breath is all of life/ so breathe deeply/ Every moment is a precious/ awakening of the spirit. Light the lamp in the darkness/ listen to the night sing/ The song is there to be heard beneath the stars/ Give thanks for both wonder and joy/ Know the stones on the path/ are set there to trip you/ Accept the wounds of the broken/ heart. Know the laughter of friends and family/ as an everlasting gift to sight. Open the heart to receive the promise. Understand that without feeling/ vulnerable you will never/ experience love. So love wisely along with all your passion. Give and you will find returns/ even in the greatest sorrow. for every lock there is a key/ for every key/ there is a door to be opened/ Only you can make the choice to enter the gates. Ask yourself is it ture/ Ask yourself is it necessary/ Ask yourself is it kind/ The answer is feel the patience/ The answer is feel the laughter/ The answer is be the humble person./ Go and find the song/ and sing it out joyously.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
