    In The Balance

    Stuck in the balance
    a bad place to be
    teetering and wobbling
    there's no way to see

    What lies ahead
    or how to get back
    just trapped and waiting
    to fall-going splat

    These scales cannot equalize
    always they tip
    different items hold them
    making them sift

    Confused by the balance
    not the best thing to be
    especially when you're way up high
    where others cannot see.
