In the faintest of voices.

In the faintest of voices.

To a pouring rain
In the faintests of voices
I heard your name,
It echoed.
from all the places.
That I'd called you from.
In a dream,
I held you close again
But you were gone
again, just then.
I awoke this morning.
To a pouring rain.
In the faintest of voices,
I heard your name.
It echoed,
from all the places,
I'd called you from.
In a dream,
I held you close again
But you were gone
again, just then.

Very nice well written poem, dreams vanishing as we leave one world for another. 10 from me.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
