In the fight to survive....

In the fight to survive....

The city of Pittsburgh
These days
Is a place I'd rather not stay
There are many hungry
In the fight to survive

Youths are homeless,
and Uncared for in the Public school system
Raising Themselves
In the fight to survive

There is constant violence
between "Hoods"
Crackheads that roam endlessly
trying to get their next high
In the fight to survive

The mothers dont care
& the Fathers are never there
In the fight to suvive

They say "We are the Change"
But we're also to blame
Because our generation's corrupt
but they never think about who raised us!
So we sit with shame
not able to bring any good to our family's name
so here's a Pittsburgh child's pain
In the fight to survive....
