    In the Shadows

Stuck in a time that is not my own,
    Wondering around lost and alone,
No one knows who I really am,
They try to make contact with "the damned,"
I have a genuine story to tell,
Each day that passes I always fail,
I'm just heart broken searching for the light,
I walk and wonder through the dark of night,
Some times I call out to deaf ears,
Only to confirm all my fears,
    I'm not human,
    I'm not dead,
I just have words left unsaid,
    So I'll wonder,
    So I'll wait,
Till I meet that certain fate,
Then I'll either knock on Heaven's door,
Or fall to the eternal firery floor.

I'll assume on the last line you meant, 'eternal'. If that is the case then you have no worries, there is always room for one more soul inside my Hell. Know this; if you are already 'lost and alone' then your choice has been made and within Hell you shall remain. Good job. A.T.

so this is life as you see it,from one extreme to the bottom of the pit, inspiration can be personal and so we strive to reach that point that make us apart of living,,love the way you do it,,

You certainly are well versed in what makes interesting reading. Excellent piece. 10 from me.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
