inside me

In my dark place

Iam  black a constant  veil

Futile like a river always surging ahead

Meandering, overflowing and  shrinking,

Dependant on the course of habit of human nature,

Torn in different directions

One to confusion ,one to anger, one to guilt ,one to resolution and one to surrender,

Equal parts of desolution, non structural yet uniform ,

This is my place of mourning ,this is the place I bleed

This is my dark place my harbor

In my dark place

Iam blood red  and plasmalike

Un tapped like  a gum tree,

Slowmotion,saplike, fiery and resin

Each the other and yet completely alone

Standing in forest of illusions and mayhem

Emotions amuck and passion deprived

Seething in  a residual wasteland of fruitlessness

Knowing that  which is indefinite  till eternity

From twilight to timelessness

I am freeflowing yet unfulfilled

This is my dark place my orchard

In my dark place

I am White Colourless  and absorbing

prismlike  feathery and free

Just like a diamond  sparkle in sunlight

Catching the eye of an eagle

Weightless,abundant,fullbodied

Searching finding  and devouring

Till all but nothing is left

purging thoughts in thoughtlessness

 Resistant to change but accepting

Freedom in a flight of fearlessness

A regurgitating renewal of the senses

Purity in absolution and  peace in profoundness

This is my dark place my Sky.

Very dark and sad. It's a wonder how some of us make it through. Well written, full of emotion and imagery.

thank you k.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
