    Instinct

     The fire in our bodies,
    Burns with a passion,
    We keep going,
    Even when we are hopeless,

    We try not to surrender,
    We try not to break,
    Because all of life's uncertainties,
    Make us unique.

    But yet, we lie and deceit,
    Those who care most,
    We hurt the ones,
    That have done no wrong.

    We all have instinct,
    To help one another,
    But yet, we still ignore,
    Or friends that need a helping hand.
