    IRON BIRD

You took my dream, my only gleam!
And made me freak and scream
I watch you floating across trhe lonesome sky
As i held my head up high
    Waving a tentative good-bye

You are the most vicious bird I have ever seen
    Tough like steel
    a heart of stone
that could not interpret the secret code
of the only one I have ever known

If i could but shot that iron bird
Then others would be in the dirt
    And left me to greeve
    over my beloved deceased
    Don't let me, please.

Don't shoot that bird but grow your wings to fly free.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
