    Is This How It Feels

     Is this how it feels
    After years of tryin
    TO Do the right thing
    still being myself
    sometimes cryin
    No dirty deals
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    Reachin
    deep inside myself
    Tryin to avoid a
    Disaster
    Heart pumpin
    Faster Faster
    Wonder do they care
    Do they care at all
    or will
    They let us fall
    I,ll say it again
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    Looking off my
    balcony
    across the bay
    can see rain commin
    day made for luvin
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    Saw and oldman
    this mornin
    Had a tender smile
    on His face
    each step He took
    He took with grace

    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    When children are grown
    leave the nest
    empty spaces
    haunting places
    Still No rest
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    A lighter side
    a better day
    no more running
    cuz there's no where
    to hide
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELS
    didnt play them
    stupid games
    and was told
    all dead fish
    smell the same
    no disneyland religion
    no mythologies
    no apologies
    I,ll say it again
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELs
    Dispise me
    cuz
    I can see
    nothing better
    than to be
    FREE
    IS THIS HOW IT FEELs
