IS THIS THE TIME

"the mountains that had to be climbed are still standing

one man could never hold them up

the oceans and seas still rage with uncertainty

the voice that quiets them has ascended

we no longer find the need to cry everyday displaying eyes red and sore

happiness isn't brought at a fast pace

our children we will forever tell of the bad and danger

for they will have children who will need to know

staring out the window, peep thru doorways, looking beyond the stranger

our guard do we let it down, is this the time"
