Poem Commentary

About that cheatin' heart and how it can get you in trouble.

"It ain't over"

So let me tell you my dllemna
off the top of my dome
she was 1/2 black and 1/2 Jewish
Holla Shalom

I called myself tryin to cheat
takin' wifey for granted
but then she turned the tables on me
and I just couldn't stand it

Yeah I tricked with other women
I ain't think nothin' of it
Grapevine was tellin' me
that she was fucxxxg my brother

Now how'm I supoosed to handle
something coming between me and fam?
and make it worse.
catchin' feelin's wasn't part of my plan.

Now I'm tryin' to keep it movin'
realizin' my fears
And how she gone and throw away
the last 15 years?

If i live by the sword
I'm gone die by the knife
Ma you shoulda took it easy
that's why I made you my wife

I never claimed that I was perfect
nothin' farther from truth
don't wanna lose you over a night
of Ciroc Vodka Vermouth

I do anything I gotta
even remain sober
You ain't gettin' rid of me
mama sxit ain't over
