    it ends

This is how the world ends,
    How the time is denied,
This is how the crows feast,
    on corpses rotted and dried.
This is how the world ends,
    not with fire or pain.
But when we all just give up,
This is how the world ends.
When the sky is boiled red,
when the ashes fill our mouths,
when the tombs have all been raided
When the women are all barren,
when the bullets litter the air,
When we turn off all the lights,
When we eat each others flesh.
When we find there is no god.
THis is how the world ends,
    Not with a bloddy war,
but with the darkness of sleep.
A sleep that lasts forever, when we all give up.

i liked this poem read my poem reality i think you will like it this poem is great at telling everything we need to ever know about ourselves great job

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
