    THAT SET ME ON FIRE

    THE VIVID DREAMS
    I HAVE EACH NIGHT

    ABOUT THE WORLD
    I HAVE IN SIGHT

    ~

    ROMANTIC INTERLUDES
    PICTURESQUE SCENES

    HOW WONDERFUL
    THIS LIFE SEEMS

    ~

    I LIVE IN THAT PLACE
    WITH A HAPPY SOUL

    I KNOW
    NOT RATIONAL
    IT DOES TAKE ITS TOLL

    ~

    I WILL FIND IT
    I WILL LIVE MY LIFE
    SMILING BOLD

    ALONG WITH MY BEAUTY
    IN THIS LIFE
    PROMISED AND FORETOLD

    ~

    THE SUN WILL SHINE
    MY CUP WILL FILL
    MY HEART WILL SING

    INTO THE ARMS
    OF A LIFE
    THIS A WONDROUS THING

    ~

    I LOOK FORWARD TO
    THE LIFE THAT CAN BE

    I like how you ended the poem. I like it will only happen in another life, however, at the same time it will happen the next day. Very nicely written.
